Mr. Charlie Bruce Lowe, 61

Services for Mr. Charlie Bruce Lowe, 61 of 317 Byron Rd. Columbia SC 29209 passed away on February 26, 2016. He is survived by his wife: Diane B. Lowe, his mother: Louise Lowe, one brother: Micheal Lowe of Alabama, two sisters: Joyce (Jim) Alexander of Raleigh NC, Tammy Lowe of Alabama. Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday March 5, 2016 at Lexington Presbyterian Church with a viewing from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon at The Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home Winnsboro SC.

Mrs. Linda Lumpkin Belton, 59

Mrs. Linda Lumpkin Belton was born on March 1, 1956 in Winnsboro, SC.  She was beckoned into eternal rest on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Abe Eugene and Alberta Lumpkin. 
She joined Shiloh Independent Church at an early age and at the time of her passing she was a member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church (USA).
Linda was a graduate of Winnsboro High School.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Family Development from Benedict College and her Master of Divinity from Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA.  She was ordained as a minister in 1995.  Linda also attended the Interdenominational Theological Center and has a Master of Arts in Christian Education Degree.
Linda was known for her loving smile and strength.  Her calm demeanor in the midst of any crisis prevailed. 
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Tallie Belton, Jr. (better known as “Babe”); one son, Mandy Belton of Columbia, SC; one daughter, Raine (Shaun) Williams of Tucker, GA; two sisters, Terry Olivera and Erica (Norman) Pete of Winnsboro, SC; four grandsons, Mandy, Jr., Jamil, Jacob and Shane—her grandchildren were the love of her life; three sisters-in-law, Sarah Belton, Essie  Brown and Kimberly Nelson all of Ridgeway, SC; one brother-in-law, Carl Belton of Charleston, SC; three aunts, Frances Freeman, Marjorie Byrd of Winnsboro, SC and Marie Jones of Seawell, NJ; two uncles, Billy and Larry Anderson of Hartford, CT and a host of special friends and loving relatives all of whom will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm ( 12:00 noon viewing) Thurs. Mar. 3, 2016 at Lebanon Pres. Church Ridgeway SC. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 7 pm Wed. Mar. 2, 2016 at Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home  324 S Vanderhorst St Winnsboro SC 29180.

Mrs. Rosa Mae Kelly Davis, 88

Mrs. Rosa Mae Kelly Davis, 88  of 3153 Old Chester Rd. Winnsboro SC 29180 passed away on February 18, 2016 .She was born on March 14, 1927 in Fairfield County to the late Sam and Bessie Small Kelly. On February 18, 2016, she entered into eternal rest at her home after battling a long illness. She was educated in the Fairfield County Public School System. She was married to the late Willie "Bozo" Davis and to this union they were blessed with seven children. Rosa was a homemaker for many years and helped raise twenty two children. Rosa was a life-long member of Weeping Mary Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Society, the Usher Board for over 60 years, and The Humble Daughters of Zion Society. She was a lovable person who loved her family, Church family, her phone and her hats. "Granny", known by her children and grandchildren had a love for gardening, growing flowers, canning and cooking. She was famous for her chow chow pickle and sweet potato pies. Many days you could find her sitting under her oak tree for hours with the young people until her health declined. She was the backbone of the family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but not forgotten. Her motto was "I'll Be Alright". She leaves to cherish her memories three daughter: Rosetta (Wade Jr.) Watson, Carolyn Davis and Margaret (Willie James) Watson. One son: Glenn Davis all of Winnsboro SC: Two devoted sisters: Lula Copeland of Bloomfield Conn. and Katie Mae (Granville) Patterson of Raleigh NC: One sister-in-law: Louise Ford of Winnsboro SC: Two brother-in-law George "Peanut" (Rosetta) Davis of NC and Harold Warren of Florida, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who loved her dearly. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm (12 noon viewing) Thursday February 25, 2016 at Weeping Mary Baptist Church Hwy 321 N Winnsboro SC with burial in the Church  cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 7:00 pm Wednesday February 24, 2016 at The Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home of Winnsboro SC.

Ms. Rebecca R. "Lil" Reed, 76

Our beloved Rebecca R Reed "Lil" went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 10th, 2016 at the age of 76.
   Born May 9th, 1939 in Blythewood, SC , she was the 9th of 12 children born to Wylie and Elizabeth Robertson. She loved her childhood home so much that she resided and raised her family there until her passing. She graduated from Bethel High School in 1957 and went on to become a Mental Health Specialist III and retired from Craft Farrow State Hospital in 1997 after 30 dedicated years.
  The whole town knew "Lil" for her delicious cooking and baking. She would spend her spare time fishing and gardening. She loved quality time with her family and friends. Always venturing on trips and lighting up the town with her amazing spirit and smile, she was not only the rock for her family but also for anyone that knew her. She was always there to lift spirits and remind you to never give up.
  Rebecca is survived by her two daughters; Cynthia L. Hollis, and Donna R. Donald, her son; Michael E. Reed, whom all reside in South Carolina, her Goddaughter; Deborah Harrison of Charlotte, NC ,12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her brother; Martin Robertson of San Bernardino, CA and sister; Ermene Canzater of Blythewood, SC. She was preceded in death by her 6 sisters and 4 brothers.   
Her service will be held 12:00 noon (11:00am viewing)Monday February 15th, 2016 at Macedonia Baptist Church Ridgeway SC 29130 with committal at Memorial Gardens of Columbia, 9301 Wilson Blvd Columbia, SC 29203. Visitation will be held 1:00pm to 7:00pm Sunday February 14, 2016 at The Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home in Winnsboro SC 29180.

Mrs. Dinnah Gracie Cooper McClain, 78

Mrs. Dinnah Grace McClain of 425 Floyd Drive of Columbia, South Carolina was born June28, 1938 in Williamsburg County, to the late Estelle and Wesley Cooper. She departed this life Tuesday February 9, 2016 at 8:40 a.m. at home peacefully.
To her family and many friends, she was called “Dinnah Grace” but affectionately she called “Pumpkin”.
Dinnah Grace was a 1957 Graduate of Tomlinson High School. She joined Trinity Baptist Church in 1975. She was a devoted member of the Pastors Aide Ministry and prior to that she served on the Missionary Ministry. Dinnah Grace has been a devoted member of Trinity Baptist Church for over 40 years. She also worked for the State of South Carolina as a youth adult counselor, mentor and a correction officer for over 40 years. Dinnah Grace loved to tailgate with her husband to SCSU football games, and playing bingo/ cards with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Leroy “Roy” McClain, a loving son Wayne McClain, her loving Daughter Jeffery Portee, and loving brothers, Hugh Cooper, Sam James, and Walter Cooper

Dinnah Grace leaves to cherish her fond and many memories: Her loving daughters Constance McClain of Columbia SC., Rose(Terrence) Harris of Columbia SC, Linda Dawson of Greenville SC., Paulette Kennedy of Columbia SC, and Brenda Williams of Columbia SC.  One loving son Robert (Nicole) Porter of Atlanta GA: Four Brothers: Eugene (Jackie) Cooper of Sanford Fl., Walter (Betty) Cooper of Coconut Creek FL, Rhaubal Cooper of Miami FL, and Roosevelt (Beverly) Cooper of Tampa FL, thirteen  grandchildren; Naomi Patterson of Atlanta GA, Michael Harris Of Columbia SC, Keri Portee of Columbia SC, Brian( Dawn) Summers Sr. of Columbia SC, William and Alesha Dawson Of Greenville SC., Malik and Rache Williams of Columbia SC,  Cherish lee and Curtis Scioners of Atlanta GA, Carlos McCoy of Columbia SC, and Richard Scott of Columbia SC, Six sister in laws: Myra McClain and Mattie Rice Of Newark NJ, Maebell Crumpton of Columbia SC., Rosabell ( Danny) of Charleston SC, Mary Catherine ( Moses) of Rochester NY, and Lillie McCray of Durham NC,  three devoted adopted daughters Paula Gambrell, Carolyn Ellis, and Amani English- Lewis, a loving Godson Kendrick Spann,  also a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and dear friends , all of whom will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday February 13, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church 2521  Richland St. Columbia SC 29204 with burial in Robinson Cemetery. A wake will be held 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday February 12, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church Columbia SC 29204.

Mrs. Rhodan Pressley McCollom

Mrs. Rhodan P. McCollom, the seventh child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pressley, was born on October 27th in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. She went to be with her heavenly father and the love of her life (Claude)on Monday, February 8th, 2016.

She attended the Williamsburg County school system and at a young age,moved to Columbia, SC with her aunt and uncle where she completed her educational studies. She graduated from C.A. Johnson High School, Allen University and The University of South Carolina where she obtained a Masters of Education Degree in 1976.

After being joined in matrimony to the late Claude A. McCollom, she joined Wesley United Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, a member of the finance committee, and she was chair of the hospitality committee for several years which was her absolute gift and passion.
She was also a member of the Democratic National Committee, Retired Association of Retired Clemson Extension Agents, South Carolina Funeral Directors Association, and the Quettes (wives of Omega Psi Phi).

She worked for the Clemson Extension Service for 24 years as a home economist, educating and serving the community in how to live healthier. During this time she was able to serve under privileged families and educate them on home-making skills such as cooking, sewing, and gardening. She enjoyed working with 4-H Clubs and took great pride in sharing her love of cooking with others.After retiring from Clemson Extension she obtained her Funeral Director’s license where she co-owned and operated McCollom Funeral Home with her husband.  After selling the funeral home she started planting a garden year round, sharing, canning and freezing fresh vegetables. Over the past 8 years, she has enjoyed the wonderful staff at Providence Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Center where she routinely exercised, helped with activities and fellowshipped.

She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and seven sisters.  She is the last of 13 children.

Rhodan leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Carla (Norris) Mitchell and Claudia Ward.  five grandchildren:  Cara Mitchell, Sidra Mitchell,McCollom(Mac) Mitchell, Morgan Ward and Matthew Ward and one great-grand: Kamryn Ward.two sisters-in-law, Gladys Pressley and Irene McCollom.   A host of nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.

 The celebration of life services of Rhodan Pressley McCollom will be held on February 12, 2016 at Francis Burns United Methodist Church 5616 Farrow Rd Columbia SC 29203.  Viewing will begin at 10am with funeral services starting at 11am.
Burial will be in McMollom Cemetery Mead Ct.Columbia SC 29203.
