Mr. Nathaniel Ashford, 53

Mr. Nathaniel Ashford 53,of 58 Sunshine Dr. Winnsboro SC passed away on Aug. 20, 2016. He is survived by his daughter: Candace Ashford, four brothers: James, Odell, Clarence and Eugene Ashford, three sisters: Jessie Burns, Donna Randolph, Carolyn Thompson and Verdie Gadson and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 12 noon to 7 pm  Fri. Aug. 26, 2016 at Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S. Vanderhorst Winnsboro SC 29180. Services will be 1:00 pm Sat. Aug. 27, 2016 at Mt. Morris Creek Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery

Mr. Kenneth Quintay Patterson, 29

Mr. Kenneth (Quintay) Patterson was born on November 8, 1986 in Lancaster County, South Carolina.  He departed this life on Friday August 19, 2016 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Winnsboro, SC. He was the son of the late Sally Ann Patterson who preceded him in death.

He gave his life to Christ at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Winnsboro, SC where he attended in his early years with his mother and sibling.

Kenneth was educated in the public schools of Fairfield County in Winnsboro, SC. While attending school as a child he loved playing baseball with the Fairfield Recreation Center during the summer. He was a proud Griffin of the class of 2006.

After high school he became employed at Martin Marietta as a truck driver until his health would not allow him to continue working. Kenneth loved spending his days outside and attempting to cook for his family. He enjoyed restoring old automobiles, spending time with his family and being the leader of all his cousins.

Although Quintay was not a biological father, he had a special place in his heart for his special friend children. He enjoyed spending time with Fat, Treyvus and DT cooking, eating and hanging around outside in the yard. They had an unbreakable bond that only the love of God could have created.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Charlie & Lucille Patterson, and two uncles, Charles & Isaiah Patterson.

Mr. Kenneth (Quintay) Patterson leaves to remember, cherish and rejoice in his legacy, his father Kiniuel (Kent) Pearson (Cynthia), one brother Jaquez Pearson, three sisters Iesha Patterson (Winnsboro, SC), Shaquanna Pearson and Lawrencia Furqan (Columbia, SC), One step- sister LaPrecious Johnson and one step-brother DeAngelo Johnoson, Grandparents Mr. Thomas & Mildred Pearson. Eight Aunts, three Uncles and a special friend Melresa (Shawn) Rodgers along with a host of loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be 12 pm to 7 pm Wed. Aug. 24, 2016 at The Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, 324 S Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Thurs. Aug. 25, 2016 at Morris Creek Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery

Mr. William Haynes Bratton, 86

Mr. William H. Bratton 86, of 4413 State Hwy 34 E. Ridgeway SC passed away on August 18, 2016.  He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter; Mary Belton and a host of other loving relatives and friends whom will all miss him dearly. Funeral service will be Saturday August 20, 2016 (viewing 9:00 am to 10:00 am) at Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home  Chapel 324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC 29180. Burial will be held Monday August. 22, 2016 at St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery.
