On Saturday, January 29, 2017 , God saw
that it was time to take away the pain and sorrow, so that morning at 3:40 am ,
God released you and called you home. Regina J. Chambers, Jean to many, was
born April 12, 1945 to the late Ann Gilmore of Chicago, Illinois. She attended the
Chicago Public School System, and was an active member of Union Baptist Church,
on the north side of Chicago. Regina was adopted and loved by her mother Mary,
her daddy Sam, her grandmother: Ms. Annie Mitchell, her big mama and two
brothers: Edward and George Chambers of Chicago Illinois. Early on in her life
she met two life-long friends: the late Arthur
Davis Jr. and the late Mrs. Minnie Davis, both of Chicago Illinois. Regina
gave birth to eight children: seven girls and one boy. She worked odd jobs throughout
her life, she loved the Lord in all fashion, and conducted to seek higher
education. She loved her generations as they began to age and multiply. Regina
never gave up hope and faith. Her unconditional love would always prevail.
Regina leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughters: Mary Ann Chambers of
Chicago Illinois, Thomasina Robbins of Deluth Minnesota, Tomika R. Fullilove of
Illinois, Annittie (Annie) Chambers of Great Falls SC and Tammie Chambers of Madison,
Wisconsin, thirty grandsons and thirty granddaughters, and a host of other
nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her two daughters:
Regina (Rita) Chambers, Lathenya M. Chambers and one son: Earl J. Fullilove, all
of whom will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday
February 11, 2017 @ Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home Chapel, 324 S. Vanderhorst St.
Winnsboro SC 29180 with a private burial. Visitation will be 4 pm to 7 pm Friday February 10, 2017 at
Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home.
