Mrs. Essie Lou Hollis Thompson, 96

Mrs. Essie Lou Hollis Thompson, 96, 15680 State Hwy 215 S. Jenkinsville, SC.  Mrs. Thompson passed away on August 16, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born in Jenkinsville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Lawrence and Ella Martin Hollis. She was married to the late Rev. Moses Thompson. This union was blessed with two children, Elouise T. Davis and the late Moses Thompson, Jr. Two grandchildren: Angela (Ellie) Belton, Columbia, SC and Edward Allen Thompson of Brooklyn, NY. Sister-in-laws Delayma Mae Thompson and Thelma Hollis; and great- grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 1:00pm (12 Noon viewing) at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Jenkinsville, SC with burial in the Church Cemetery.
