Mrs. Emma M. Ashford, 80 of 56 Sunshine Drive Winnsboro SC passed away peacefully on November 19, 2015. Born on January 23, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Emma Lyles Owens. She is
survived by her husband Mr. Willie Lee Ashford of Winnsboro SC. Four sons: Willie Jr., Lonzell Ashford, Melvin (Ruby) Ashford and Joe Louis Trapp. Three daughters: Emma L. Ashford, Evelyn Ashford and Rosa (Charles) Gadson all of Winnsboro SC. Homegoing services will be 3:00pm (2:00pm viewing) Sunday November 22, 2015 at Morris Creek Baptist Church , 1401 Morris Creek Rd Winnsboro SC. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.Visitation will be at Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home on Saturday November 21,2015 from 12pm to 7pm.

Mr. Wates Kelly passed
away peacefully on November 18, 2015. He
leaves to cherish his memories one daughter: Mrs. Monica (Edward) Downer of Bloomfield
CT. Two sisters: Lula Copeland Bloomfield CT, Rosa Davis Winnsboro SC. Funeral
service will be held on Sunday November 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm (12:00pm viewing) at
Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 7709 Wilson Blvd. Columbia SC.
Viewing will be November 21, 2015 at Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home, located at
324 S. Vanderhorst St. Winnsboro SC from 12:00-7:00 pm. Burial will be 1:00pm Monday
November 23, 2015 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

Mr. Terry Ray Bass, 62
Terry Ray Bass, 62, of
Winnsboro, S.C. went home to be with the LORD on November
15, 2015. Born in
Ridgeway, S.C. on January 1, 1953, he was the son of the late
Charlie E. and Dorothy
P. Bass.
Terry was an
Automotive Engineer with Standard Products (Cooper Tire) for over 20
years. Never
wanting to retire - Terry continued to reinvent himself as a self employed
entrepreneur, and taught
himself different trades. Those included photography ;
Entertaining around S.C.
as a DJ with a great sense of humor and quick wit; and
lastly as a computer
expert; repairing computer hardware, programming; installing and
resolving software issues for many businesses and
individuals. He taught some
computer classes to
others as well. Terry became known
as THE PC DUDE. He loved to hunt, fish,
cook, build things, and garden. Terry always
shared his remarkable
vegetables with family, neighbors and friends.
Most importantly, Terry
gave his life to The Lord early this year.
He is survived by a
"special" loved one, Lisa Denise Heustess, the love of his life and
Caregiver; His brother Charles (Glenda) Bass of
Blythewood ; Five sisters: Sarah
Hilliard of Ridgeway; Lillian Smith, Dorothy(Norman) Rogers, Barbara Marlow, all of
Columbia; and Dinah
Hollenbeck of West Columbia; as well as many nieces and
nephews. Special thanks
are given by Lisa and Terry’s family to close friends Allen
Pearson, and Jessica
Mattox who were always there for him; entrepreneur and landlord
Gloria Blackwood for her
kindness and friendship to Terry and Lisa; SC Oncology, and
Tri-County-Hospice.
Visitation will be held
at Russell McCutchen Funeral Home in Winnsboro on
Wednesday, November 18,
from 5:00 until 7;00 PM. On Thursday, November 19 ,2015,
An open casket viewing
is available from 12;00 to 1:00 in the sanctuary of The First
Church of The Nazarene in Winnsboro, followed by A
Celebration of Terry's life at 1:00
Burial will follow at Aimwell Cemetery, Ridgeway, S.C.

Mrs. Ruth Ann Taylor, 61
Mrs. Ruth Ann Taylor 61 was born on October 28, 1954 in
Winnsboro SC to the late General Smith Sr.
and Elnora Robinson Smith. Ruth was called home by the Lord on Thursday
evening November 12, 2015.
Ruth graduated from Winnsboro High School, she was a babysitter
and did day work in the Winnsboro area during her early years.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband Lindsey
Taylor and by her brothers Larry Smith and Leslie Smith.
Ruth leaves to cherish her memories son: Kerry Smith, daughter: Canisha Harris, one brother : General Smith Jr. (Dorothy), all of
Winnsboro SC, two grandkids: De’Adrian Cole and Jalayah Cole both of Winnsboro
SC, one goddaughter Marquita Carter of Winnsboro SC, five nieces, three great
nephews, five great nieces, one great- great nephew and a host of other family
and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm (1:00 viewing) Friday November 20, 2015 at United House of Prayer For All People of Winnsboro SC. Visitation Thursday November 19, 2015 from 2 to 7 at The Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home of Winnsboro SC.Burial will be at Fairfield Community cemetery.
