Mr. Terry Ray Bass, 62

Terry Ray Bass, 62, of  Winnsboro, S.C. went home to be with the LORD on November

15, 2015.  Born in Ridgeway, S.C. on January 1, 1953, he was the son of the late

Charlie E. and Dorothy P. Bass.

 Terry was an Automotive Engineer with Standard Products (Cooper Tire) for over 20

years. Never wanting to retire - Terry continued to reinvent himself as a self employed

entrepreneur, and taught himself different trades. Those included photography ;

Entertaining around S.C. as a DJ with a great sense of humor and quick wit;  and

lastly as a computer expert; repairing computer hardware, programming; installing and

resolving  software issues for many businesses and individuals. He taught some

computer classes to others as well.  Terry became known

as  THE PC DUDE.  He loved to hunt, fish, cook, build things, and garden. Terry always

shared his remarkable vegetables with family, neighbors and friends.

Most importantly, Terry gave his life to The Lord early this year. 

He is survived by a "special" loved one, Lisa Denise Heustess, the love of his life and

Caregiver;  His brother Charles (Glenda) Bass of Blythewood ;  Five sisters: Sarah

Hilliard of Ridgeway;  Lillian Smith,  Dorothy(Norman) Rogers,  Barbara Marlow, all of

Columbia; and Dinah Hollenbeck of West Columbia; as well as many nieces and

nephews. Special thanks are given by Lisa and Terry’s family to close friends  Allen

Pearson, and Jessica Mattox who were always there for him; entrepreneur and landlord

Gloria Blackwood for her kindness and friendship to Terry and Lisa; SC Oncology, and

Tri-County-Hospice.   

Visitation will be held at Russell McCutchen Funeral Home in Winnsboro on

Wednesday, November 18, from 5:00 until 7;00 PM.  On Thursday, November 19 ,2015,

An open casket viewing is available from 12;00 to 1:00 in  the sanctuary of The First

Church of  The Nazarene in Winnsboro, followed by A Celebration of Terry's life at 1:00

Burial will follow at  Aimwell Cemetery, Ridgeway, S.C.
